Nov. 14,  2008	We have gotten many thanks from our local skaters in emails and in person and we enjoy tracking down the items you ask for. However, there are some people who don't care if we go broke. Today was the worst day ever for JV Skate Shop. Our latest delivery arrived with lots of great items for our skater friends - between 1-2 pm, a box was STOLEN with over $300 of skateboards from the front of our shop! A Blind Skateboard Complete in a Christmas stocking and a Speed Demon Checkered Black and white Complete in a Christmas Stocking and an Almost Tuff Times Warning Deck Complete Skateboard were part of our Christmas display - and would have helped us pay for our oil bill which hasn't been paid since 2007 - now it is very cold - my children need heat and insurance doesn't cover $300. A reward to the person who leads us to the conviction of the person (s) who stole our box. Help us stop the thieves from taking another skate shop from this town! Or if you return the box, we agree not to prosecute - we just want our stuff back, please. In God's name, have some compassion - we could lose our home because of you!
Oct. 31,  2008	HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Come to our skateshop tonight and wear a costume! We will be giving candy and goodies away. Zern's is having a parade and they are giving away prizes for the Scariest, Prettiest, Most Original and youngest. Most stands will be giving away candy. Zern's is a safe way to celebrate halloween....and don't forget to shop - we have new helmets and banners!
Oct. 23,  2008	New Shoe arrivals. Bike Boards arriving for Christmas. New Tensor Magnesiums in newer styles. Also new supply of stickers: Fallen, Black Label, Girl, etc. Pick up your Christmas List for your skateboard requests - great for parents!
Oct. 10,  2008	Girls Hoodies and new tops arrive! Beanies arrive . Taking donations for Parade entry - see 'Vote' page.
Sept. 26,  2008	Brand new selection of Pro Decks arrive! New Trucks and wheels too. Completes and checkered grip tapes, more....
Sept. 12,  2008	OPENING AT NOON on Friday - Clearance, clearance, clearance - more items added every week. Look for the RED sale tags! Also, we have new Tees, shoes, and belts.
Aug. 22,  2008	OPENING AT 1:00 PM Friday - Last weekend before school - New belts, shirts and of course SHOES! Don't miss the last weekend before the sale. Great sale for families needing more than one pair of shoes. open 11 am Sat.
Aug. 8,  2008	New selection of blank wheels arrive and wallets, too. Of course, more shoes for our big shoe sale and bookbags for back to school. We open at 1 pm on Friday to allow more time for school shopping.
Aug. 1, 2008	Arrival of 3 more cases of new skate shoes for Big Shoe Sale. Arrival of more backpacks, jeans, blank wheels, and Tensor Trucks. More shirts in youth sizes arrive. Shop opens at 1:15 pm on Friday - 11 on Sat.
July 26th, 2008	Raffle winners will be chosen. Don't worry if you didn't get a chance to enter the raffle on Saturday - we will be taking entries all week and the winners will be chosen on Saturday night at 9 pm.
July 19th, 2008	JV Skate Shop will have a stand at Passionfest and we will ALSO be open at Zern's. Nobody is permitted to sell skateboard decks, truck or wheels but the proffessional skaters who are performing that day so JV will have skateboard accessories and shirts for sale - stop on by! 12 noon - 10 pm.
July 5th, 2008	New Fallen Shoes, teck decks, Pro decks, girl's shirts and shorts.
July 4th, 2008	JV Skate is closed for July 4th holiday. We will open for emergencies - call 610-517-5823.
June 20, 2008	Guy's shorts and girls' shirts arrive. More longboards, new DVDs and hats.
June 13, 2008	JV Skate gets more blanks in natural and more longboards.
